Product information 3M 08158 Body Gard Flat Coating Aerosol grey

A black coating for vehicle sills and valances. The result is a high quality, rubberised, stonechip protective coating that gives a grey decorative finish. Can be overpainted. Protect automotive body panels from stone chips with 3M Body Gard Flat Coating. The stone chip coating dries rapidly to give excellent stone chip resistance. It becomes tack free within 10-15 minutes and can be painted with air drying and low bake paints after two hours drying at normal temperature.

To get good adhesion of any water based paints a primer is recommended. If you leave the product overnight before over coating, the coating should be scuffed with 3M Scotch-Brite Ultrafine Grey.
